At Mr. Cake’s Day Care, you will find long-term dedicated staff, ready to provide excellent child care services in Sherwood Park. We offer homemade meals and snacks, so you can be assured you child is getting the nutrition they need. We can take care of all your child’s needs, including indoor and outdoor activities, quiet times, education, play, and personal needs. Come in and discover our large backyard, perfect for playing in!
We make sure each child gets age-appropriate care. We have six different programs, sorted by age category starting at 10 months old and going all the way up to 12 years old. Each of our six play rooms are divided into centres that focus on weekly themes and include craft supplies, early literacy activities, manipulative play, dramatic play, quiet areas, and large muscle activities to promote the development of various skills.
Our mission is to provide an atmosphere of love and respect where a child feels comfortable and free to learn and grow. Each of our six rooms stimulates their social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional being.

Our infant fee includes two well-balanced snacks during the day, a hot lunch cooked on-site by our cook and a late afternoon snack before pick-up.

Our preschool fee includes two well-balanced snacks during the day and a hot lunch cooked on-site by our full-time cook.
Fees per Month:
Full-Time Kindergarten (100+ Hours) $974 less $647.75 Affordability Grant = $326.25
Our kindergarten fee includes a nutritious afternoon snack when children return from their school days, as well as P.D. day coverage and all school breaks (Fall, Christmas and Spring). When the kindergarten children are not in school, they are fed two snacks and a hot lunch at no extra charge.
Mr. Cake's Daycare does not provide private bussing but our big parking lot allows the school bus to come directly on-site, allowing children to wait inside and not have to walk off-site. Children are always supervised by a staff member to ensure they get on and off of the bus safely.
